Joseph Jr is a trial lawyer who serves as Of Counsel to The Law Office of Joseph Acevedo, PLLC. Joseph is a fierce advocate for people injured by the negligence of others. He prides himself on advocating for his clients in the pursuit of bringing them a fair and just result.

Joseph is a native Texan, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and matriculated to the University of the Incarnate Word. After UIW, Joseph graduated Cum Laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. At Thurgood, Joseph was an executive member of the Hispanic Law Students Association, member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and member of the Dean’s Ad Hoc ABA Advisory committee.

During law school, Joseph interned for United States District Court Judge Fred Biery in the Western District of Texas, where he honed his trial skills by observing seasoned advocates. Additionally, Joseph interned with Vortex Companies, a fast-growing civil construction company, as a law clerk on their mergers and acquisitions team. Joseph then interned with a distinguished personal injury firm focusing on discovery in complex trucking accidents before interning at another reputable personal injury firm focusing on brief writing in trucking and premises liability cases.

Joseph is a current member of the Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation and served on the Archdiocese of San Antonio’s Hope for the Future Development Board and the Central Catholic Alumni Association Executive Board.

When not in the office, Joseph enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, running, and traveling.
